They are art and design enthusiasts and own many valuable artworks. The project was designed with consideration of how to display these artworks, as well as the existing furniture, aiming to bring a sense of tranquility and harmony to the overall space.
Access is crucial in any residence. In this case, access was through the sleeping area via a long corridor with very little natural light. At Volta_, we decided to shape it, give it order, and reveal an exterior view that would welcome us every day upon entering the house. This effect was achieved by installing a sliding door in the master bedroom's walk-in closet, which incorporates this space when privacy is not required. The greatest achievement here is having established that important connection to the outdoor views.
The views in this residence serve as the axis around which the spaces and rooms unify. The connection with the outside is ever-present, whether you're in the kitchen, the bedroom, or even in the shower. To achieve this, the window frames were modularized to organize their widths, and 3- and 4-track sliding doors were installed. It was designed in such a way that a significant portion of the glass could be opened in an L-shape, turning the living room into a spectacular terrace during the summer months.< /p>
Oak wooden flooring and on-site enameled hydrophobic MDF were used to solve all the wooden carpentry and paneling in the house. Black granite was chosen for the kitchen island. Technical porcelain tiles measuring 30x10 were used in the main bathroom of the residence.
It's not just a shower; it's a space with views where you shower. This is the concept of the spacious master bathroom shower, measuring 1.6 x 1.6 meters. To enhance the sensation of a unified element, it was clad all the way to the ceiling with the same 30x10 cm technical porcelain tile. This space also allows you to step out from the shower onto the external corridor, which leads to the rear of the house and connects to the bedrooms through a glass door that provides views.
