Marta and Sergio were looking for a centrally located and well-lit home. At Volta_ we found a property that, although it was in very poor condition, had many possibilities because it had cross ventilation and a south-facing orientation with unobstructed views, which was perfect for what they were looking for.
The day area adjoins a room for flexible use, which is completely incorporated into the day zone, although it can be completely closed by a large sliding door, serving as a guest bedroom, living room, games or study area when needed.
Our clients were looking for a warm home, where they could walk barefoot or sit on the floor to play or read. That is why it was decided to use maple wood for the floor, with which later study benches or headboards would also be designed.
