We are very homey and, when we are not traveling, we love to come home and have it to our liking, a quiet space, with our things and feel that sensation of being at home, feeling at peace, that your house is your world.

Ana and Jose discovered us through Instagram. They were looking for a very specific style of modern and functional kitchen, and after seeing some of our posts, they felt that it was exactly what they were looking for. Once we saw the space in person, we felt that there were many possibilities, and we took the risk of presenting them with a proposal to renovate the ground floor to transform a standard new construction house into something tailored to them, reflecting what they were looking for: a comfortable home with spacious rooms and a functional layout.
One of the great successes of this project was achieving continuity on the ground floor through a large white mural, connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Keeping Ana and Jose's needs and preferences in mind, we designed it in a way that also accommodated a workspace with space for books, a bookshelf, a bench for the dining area in the kitchen, a coat closet, and a space in the foyer for keys, glasses, and more. Even the entryway bookshelf is designed so they can sit down to put on their shoes. All of this was done to ensure that each space was perfectly defined without impeding the flow of movement between them.
Jose says, 'I wanted a black island, my black island... and it has turned out great! Whenever I enter the kitchen, I run my hand over it; I love the touch and texture... it's my island, my treasure! It's true; I'm impressed by the strength it has, what can I say?!'
"We're homebodies, and when we're not traveling, we love coming home and having it just the way we like it – a peaceful space with our things, and that feeling of being at home, of feeling at peace, where your home is your world. Honestly, right now, we can't imagine it any other way; we're very comfortable".

Once we saw the space on site, it seemed to us that there were many possibilities and we took the risk of presenting them with a proposal to reform the ground floor to convert a standard new-build home into something tailor-made for them and that reflected what they were looking for, a comfortable house with wide spaces and a functional distribution.
One of the greatest successes of this project was to give continuity to the ground floor through a large white mural, joining the living room, kitchen and dining room. Thinking about the uses and likes of Ana and Jose, we designed it in such a way that it would also house a work area with space for books, a shelf, a bench for the dining area in the kitchen, a coat closet and a space in the hall. to leave the keys, glasses and others, even the bookcase at the entrance is designed so that they can sit down to put on their shoes. All this in such a way that each room would be perfectly defined and without hindering the flow of movement between them.
Jose tells us: “I wanted a black kitchen island, my black island… and it turned out great! Whenever I walk into the kitchen I run my hand over it, I love the touch and the texture… it's my island, my treasure! It's true, I was impressed by the power it has, as simple as that!
